When: October 2 - 14, 2025
Where: Port Shepstone, South Africa where we will be working with Genesis Hope (ministry of Norwegian Settlers Church)
What: Playing, teaching and ministering to the children at various Safe Place Facilities and the Khula Community Preschool. You can also minister at a hospice/hospital, an orphanage for abandoned babies, a surf ministry, youth ministry, music ministry and gym ministry if you are interested. We may have a fun day on the beach or do an excursion ($$$) to an animal reserve (has the longest + fastest zipline in the southern hemisphere) or to the Durban Shark Encounter.
On Sunday, we will attend church at Norwegian Settlers Church where Trevor Downham is the pastor (one or more may have an opportunity to share).
How: The trip will cost approximately $3,000. Flight will likely be thru Dubai where you will have a chance to go downtown for a few hours, spend the night near the airport and fly to Durban, South Africa the next morning (approx. 22-24 hours in air plus layovers for connecting flights).
Who: Pastor George Ripley is leading the trip. $500 deposit to hold a spot.
