Upward Sports is a fun, Christ-centered league that provides the opportunity for boys and girls to learn about teamwork, competition, kindness and the fundamentals of soccer, flag football, and cheer-leading.
Upward Sports programming focuses on building a healthy competitive spirit as well as encouraging & inspiring players to look ahead to their own personal journey with excitement and energy. Recreation athletes discover their skills and love of the game, and work to fully understand how sports help them develop the vital skills they’ll need to succeed in whatever they do.
Crossroads Christian Church is happy to offer Upward Sports for all youth in our county.

Flag Football: Co-ed for athletes in 1st - 6th Grade
Cheerleading: For Girls K - 6th Grade
SEASON TIMELINE
Evaluation Day: August 29, 2026 (Flag football only; no evals for Cheer)
Practice: Starts September 12, 2026
Games: Start September 26, 2026
Celebration Day: November 21, 2026
All games and practices are held on the fields behind Crossroads Christian Church.
Practice and game times will be finalized after evaluations.

While other youth programs may offer some of the same products and services that we do, one thing that is unique to Upward Sports is the teaching of the 360 Progression, which encourages athletes to excel both on and off the court/field. The Upward Sports Experience grows as you grow, with an increasing emphasis on exemplifying the spirit of sport and of Christ. Our comprehensive approach is never without purpose, helping young athletes discover and develop the skills they need to perform at the highest level.
